Lived in a northern suburb of Detroit back in the late 80's. It was bad then, can't imagine what it is like now. Sorry, I wouldn't live there again for all the tea in China. There is an attitude that surrounds the whole town, and I don't think it is going to change.

The strike is not just in Florida. It covers all ports from Maine to Texas. If it happens, it could shut down a good portion of the country. Major negative impact on businesses from the truckers, warehouses, and retailers to us consumers who will end up footing the bill by way of higher prices.

Holding the taxpayers hostage, that is what the unions are doing. In these hard economic times, millions out of work, millions more than haven't had a raise in years, and the selfish union is demanding more, more, more.

If someone falls and breaks their leg on my property, my insurance covers it. It pays the cost to treat the injury and if the person sues me. Why wouldn't the same apply to the insurance for the theatre? Not trying to be difficult, but seems to make sense to me.

It is the parent's responsibility to feed their children healthy meals and make sure they get plenty of fresh air and exercise. It is not the government's job, nor do we ever want it to be.

Rob: Buffet owes 8 billion dollars in back taxes. He has been fighting the government for years about paying it. Not sure why Obama used him as an example of rich people paying their taxes. lol.
